Netanyahu seems to have had enough. The Bedouin who are killed in response to rockets being fired from their villages and enclaves in Gaza have Barrack Obama to thank. He emboldened the Bedouin to attack Israel when he insisted they return to their 1948 borders.

If Israel has to go into Gaza and reoccupy it I think they will also penetrate deeply into Southern Lebanon perhaps right up to Beirut.

It is necessary to go to Beirut at least once per generation and tear the place up good. If the Lebanese could keep Syria and Hezbollah from controlling their country and running a proxy war against Israel from their lands they could prevent these period incursions and build their country back up up to its former glory. Beirut used to be a resort destination and was filled with upscale restaurants and hotels and many Europeans would vacation there on the Med.

I think this is the precursor for an attack on Iran.

Israel knows that if they attack Iran, Hamas will seek revenge. The Gaza Strip is their best location for that...so close to Israel. They need to neutralize this area before they attack Iran.
