Let Mueller keep indicting and convicting ham sandwiches. Most Americans won’t care.

1. The article made a strong case it was not a campaign contribute and took out the prosecutors best argument. It was not a cover up because it would not have been reported before the election.

2. However, there is a risk to prosecutors when they allow people to plead guilty to crime which is not or crime or which the person did not do. When these facts come up they are strong grounds for a withdrawal of the plea.

I would expect the prosecution thinks it has evidence of Trump's intent. Like a recorded call. Either that or the Prosecution lacks ethics.

To avoid a trial that will bankrupt him or to avoid having family members indicted on bogus charges, both go-to moves of the Mueller team. That's how they got Flynn to tap out.

Problem is, Mueller and his team were not involved in the Cohen plea arrangements. They got kicked over to the southern district.

Now Lanny is all over tv saying this and that hoping to get Mueller’s attention and a plea deal for his client.

My guess is Mueller doesn’t want to play ball with Cohen and that’s why Cohen is trying to throw Trump under the bus. Saying he has something on Trump will make its way to Mueller’s desk. But I’m starting to think Mueller knows Cohen isn’t stable and that’s why he didn’t play ball with Cohen in the first place.

Intent would be immaterial.

How about option 3. The charges are in fact credible, Cohen is actually guilty and Trump is legitimately implicated.

But seriously, it is beyond belief you guys are taking some obscure Russian loving opinion piece over the United States justice system. It is truly a sad and worrying time for this country because of what is happening to right wing people such as yourself.

I would think they would need evidence of intent to benefit his campaign for Trump to be prosecuted.

We already know he made the payments.

The question might be was there an intent to influence the election or simply protect his business image or his relationship with his wife?

Intent would be immaterial.
