"Let me be clear" Obama's jobs speech

Quote from pspr:

But, you can clearly see that it was Obama who received the tablets from God with the Ten Commandments.

yeah, this movie is merciless in the way it attempts to contort history ...

so, you can present as many stills from Hollywood movies, depicting the miraculous feats of Obama, I will remain unconvinced..

back to the OP, who really gives a shit what Obama has to say about "Jobs"...

If Obama really wants to create jobs he should be begin his speech like this "I am here to announce my resignation, effective immediately......".

I suppose we'll hear the words;

"education"

"for the children"

"GM"

(yikers, ya think he'll give the current stock quote of GM tonight while quoting auto sales?)

Quote from CaptainObvious:

Sorry, it ain't 1980 anymore, so you're old time solutions just aren't going to work. The USA is not, cannot, and will not be competitive with nations that have NO regulations, NO Labor law and a population that will work for a buck a day. So unless you're prepared to live in a sewer, quite literally, and work for slave wages at best...it's over. That is, unless there's something on the job creation horizon of the magnitude that the desk top computer was. Something that's a game changer. Without that, telling corporate America they can dump shit in the river again just won't do.

Don't be ridiculous. We have what all other nations covet - the CONSUMER. Put in protections, tarrifs and make companies incentivised to hire and produce here in the US. If no other nation consumes as much as we do, then get our consumers to buy from ourselves. Create and keep the jobs here.
