And when has that ever happened?I wouldn't call it secession if both sides peacefully agree to separate.
Lolthere is no unification of eu, it is a project, and it doesn’t work.
in fairness, Vlad's wreaked havoc, including successfully pushing Brexit efforts by weaponizing a refugee crisis and indiscriminate carpet bombing Syria and pushing anti-refugee propaganda through out Europe. Not to mention pushing Kremlin aligned members into not taking in said refugees.Lol
USSR breakup
you saying those satellite sates could've broken off peacefully under USSR rule? No, in name only. Its western acquisitions were peeled but its territories east of Ural Mountains stayed put. Germany, Poland, Czech etc were never part of Russia anyway.

that's why I said under USSR rule. How many attempts were made and quashed prior to the breakup? Hell, Ukraine has a rich history of trying to break from that rule (Holodomor being a clear example of soviet prevention). You call them satellites states, I see them as its allies under Warsaw pact. When history comes to push and shove, what remains at the core is its heritage.
I don’t recall any bloodshed during its collapsing, everyone wants to take state properties into its pocket. Money is more important.
