I used to fly, used ride motorcycles, used to have fun, now I read books for the most part. Enjoyable, but not quite the same. Last year I read 22 books from Dante's Inferno to Thomas Paine to a Bourne book. I'm about finished with my second book for this year and doing a course on Coursera.

Good friend was out for a relaxation ride on his Harley this weekend and took a side impact from a deer. So much for relaxation. Fortunately for him he has a racing background and not a typical Harley rider. He had on full body gear and one of the top of line helmets. He is going in for a CT to be safe, but other than a totaled bike he doesn't even have any road rash.
His employer wasn't a fan of his racing, so I have a feeling they are going to try and tell him he is done with motorcycles. I asked if I could be there for that conversation.
