Do any of you remember that guy that used to run Remington? He was lamenting our demise as a manufacturer. Can't recall his name, but he was on 60 Minutes (this is years ago, maybe the early 80's) and he said the way things are going in this country, in a few years we will all be selling each other life insurance. He was right, only it was mortgages, not insurance. 
PS: Did you know that over 40 million WORKING Americans pay NO INCOME TAX! That's over 1/3 of all workers. How long do you think it will take for them to figure out they can vote themselves an entitlement that someone else has to pay for. That is how sick this govt is. IMO, if you work, you pay something, even if its just $100/year.

The republican's have made a huge error and BUSH is leading the charge. They lost their principles, created BIG GOVERNMENT and did not fight hard enough against the idiot liberals.

The cult of personality around Obama is getting ridiculous, he is now being hailed as the new Lincoln and he hasn't even done anything yet! I hope he isn't caught up in his image to the point where he wants to just be Mr. Nice Guy, he is only going to be effective if he is willing to piss off a lot of his supporters. That will be his true test, doing what is right vs. what is popular. Will be tough too given the heights of popularity he has risen to, a long way to fall.
On positive note though, I think that had Obama not been elected and thus not given the masses hope that their current economic plight may be miraculously be reversed next year on the day of his inauguration we might have already started to see a few street protests in the US like the have been enjoying in Greece.
