I have been working out in the gym for almost a year now and I have quite mediocre results. I can't figure out how to get as much muscle mass and relief as these guys. Everyones different and will give different advice but here are some ideas:

Up your calorie intake considerably.

Lower your reps(4's) so you can add more weight immediately.

Forget about a 6 pack for a year.

You need to build it and then refine it.

Make sure youre squatting.Big,strong legs is your body giving permission to the rest of you to grow.This should be the only anabolic response you need.

Gear isnt worth it. You'll be glad you didnt down the track.

Edit to say that I believe that it is possible to intelligently use performance enhancing substances.However the trade off needs to be worth it i.e making a living from your physique or your sport perfomance.Cutting corners due to budgetary constraints can wreck you.
