LeBron James Launches Group Aimed At Protecting Voting Rights

You cannot straight stat compare to make an argument. Also there is no one single GOAT.

Michale Jordan is the GOAT for winning 3 in a row, retiring and coming back 2 years later and winning another 3 in a row with a mostly different team.

THE ONLY REASON IT ENDED THERE is because Chicago management was fucktarded. The same returning Bulls would have gone to the Finals in 1999 without a doubt (Knicks were not that good).

When Lebron is done he will be spoken of like Kobe and MJ and others before him, as one of the GOATs of the game. There is no way to single out any one player because those who call MJ the GOAT and recognize no other only do so because it was in their time and ignore Bill Russell.

They are all great and at the top and one does not knockoff the other.
 
Lebron is the best player of his era. He probably has more natural ability than any player that's every played. You don't see players built like a power forward with the skill set of a point guard very often. Despite all of his ability, he's fallen short of greatness. He's 3-6 in the finals and 2 of his 3 championships were manufactured though super teams. Worst of all, he has a final second shooting percentage of 20%. He's never been clutch.

Jordan was the GOAT. He did things that can only be categorized as special. There's no doubt in my mind that he would average 40 PPG in today's game. He didn't have as much natural ability as Lebron, but his competitiveness set him apart. He went 6-0 in the finals. He probably could've won 10+ championships if he would've left the Bulls to form a super team. He had a final second shooting percentage of 50%. He was one of the most clutch players in the history of the NBA.

I would love to see that series. The Warriors were loaded after they signed KD. At times they could put 5 all-stars on the floor. Jordan's accomplishments are all that more impressive when you consider the fact that the Bulls never had more than 2 players make the all-star team during the years they won the finals. Jordan never really played for a super team.

Did you have the opportunity to see Jordan play in his prime? Highlights simply don't do justice to his greatness.

I was young but I did.I think its close.The fact that Lebron is great at both guard and forward positions and can even match up against some centers while Jordan was really only great as a shooting guard gives Labron the edge imo . I certainly understand and respect the opinions that Jordan is the best
 
Also Bulls were naturally formed for the most part.... Jordan, Pippen and Kukoc and great role players like Paxson, Kerr, Horace Grant, Rodman. There were great teams but no super formed teams.

2010 on it was all about the Big 3 or Big 4 and rarely fully drafted. Major props though to GSW with Curry, Klay and Green drafted.

One of the best drafted teams in this ear never got the chance is the OKC Thunder. Look at this drafted team:

Kevin Durant
Serge Ibaka
Russel Westbrook
James Harden
Reggie Jackson

In the 1990s or 2000s they would have stuck together most likely and been an amazing team.

Last season was sad even though we hate these formed super teams but without injury the 2019 champs would have been GSW with this lineup:

Steph Curry
Klay Thompson
Kevin Durant
Draymond Green
DeMarcus Cousins


That lineup healthy in 2019 destroys Toronto and goes down as one of the top 5 starting 5 in a Finals.
Boogie goes down and then Durant and then Klay and it was over.
