Gaps are created for these main reasons:

1. To move the market in such a way as to cause the most pain to the greatest amount of traders as possible.
2. To keep as many people possible out of the move.
3. Or, to be used as a fishing expedition for suckers.
4. Reaction to overnight news.

needless to say there is no way to collect the 'entire' additional 2600 bucks as profit --- but not exiting automatically at the fill would have yielded extra money in Feb
 
got busy elsewhere and did not post trades

did alot of watching on a few setups that I chose not to take --- my conclusion so far is this is not a prediction game but it is a numbers game
