Learning options

Who said rapidly on the go? my lifestyle is nothing if I'm not working I'm at home, i don't drink or do drugs, i don't head out with friends. It's odd times i have to get out an about, like now after an hour away I'm back to sit infront of a screen to learn something.. would be easier if someone could point me in the right direction with options instead of trying to be a hero, it's not a attention span problem, its a why am i reading it over an over an not understanding it, why not ask for help... like I'm trying to now

It is not you, man. I am a dinosaur. I am from a time where we didn't post pics from a smartphone, because they did not exist. It seems cheep and quick, without much thought, on a subject as rich and complex as options.

When you post a pic like this...

It makes me think cheep. The hell does that screen represent? There is no info on it at all, except a few numbers with hyphens.

Nevermind me, I'll go grump somewhere else.

That screenshot... well on my side had a caption asking if they were the strikeprices an the other screenshot was asking what the other prices were in the hundreds on the buy an sell part, an the last one of the chart i wrote above asking why it isn't showing me the cost of it..as igs options/platform seem different to the ones people are teaching online. If those screenshots didn't show up with captions or if my captions/description of them weren't that informative, then i understand your frustration, but with options, i don't fully understand why the buy and sell at 129 or 162 is different to strike prices an i don't know what to type in on Google for it to understand where I'm coming from even though I've come here an still can't word my problems correctly for help i though a screenshot of what i am looking at would be a headstart

Strike Price say MFST $100 Strike If the Stock is at $100 then the $100 strike will expire worthless either Call or Put.

If the Price expires at $110 then the 100 puts are worthless but the 100 Calls worth $10 x 100 = $1000 selling/expiry price.

Then the Extra Value, is the Time value, the longer they have to Expiry the more of a time value you have, but this reduces as the time ticks away.

I know two thirds of fk all with options, i was wondering if someone could give a run down on them.. as from fx/futures.. and everyones been helpful on my otherpost to help me understand algos an where to start I thought I'd try here with options as well... I'm not picking options up all that well, I've come across them on ig, which seems different to other platforms, so can someone help simplify it all? I'm reading in circles trying to learn it from the net.. like why doesn't it charge or show the margin needed to buy, i understand what call & puts are.. as far as I know. Also what is the second lot of numbers about, there's the strike price then once on the instrument, it'll have a smaller number in the hundreds..
A humble suggestion: Since you are able to find ET, why don't you google "stock options". You will find thousands of websites explaining what and how on options. All else fails, try wiki, or CBOE.

After you read them if you still have some very specific questions, those who know the answers will be happy to help. As is I really don't know what you are asking.

I like them fried 'taters...

If you want to learn something as serious as options, then invest in your option trading business. Put down your smartphone and buy a personal computer with a monitor and an internet connection through a broadband internet provider, such as a cable company.

If you do not know what those items are, ask your parents.

They can teach you all that old tech.

The irony here is so thick you could not cut it with a sling blade. (Some folks call it a Kaiser blade).
