I find stocks in one of three ways. First, I track BarCharts top 100 and look for B/O's from that group.
Second, I look for volume surges via TC2000. You can do this w/SC.com also. SC.com is free but TC2000 has customizable features that SC.com doesn't have.
Finally, I have the entire tradable market loaded into a SC.com database. I usually scan the entire thing every other day by eye. I have them grouped by sector so I can see stocks that tend to move together. 90% of my picks come from scanning this way. Guess there just isn't any substitute for hard work.
