Maybe a little but with inflation over his ownership period being roughly only 220%, you tell me how the value went from 185K to 1.2M.
I am not shitting you when I say my property has gone up almost 20% since March. The housing market is mind boggling right now. I have a friend I went to high school with that just sold for 250% of what he paid less than 5 years ago. So, no, I’m not surprised that in a market like Delaware you can get 10x over 20 years.

Then why does Realtor.com estimate the house is worth 1.5 when it was bought in 1996 for 1.2?

Thise sites aren’t real appraisals. You should know that being a house flipper and all. I read a Zillow article on the Biden house saying it appraised for over 2 million now.
