I'm not talking about political nastiness. I'm talking about real gangsterism -- ruining or attempting to ruin peoples lives if they don't do your bidding, or if they cross you. The equivalent of making offers that can't be refused, and smashing hands. Trumps demanding of "loyalty" is as characteristic of all out gangsterism as we are going to find.They're all gangsters, Piezoe. You're just too partisan to accept it. The difference with Trump is that he is openly gangster while the others hide in policy, procedure and rhetoric.
Nixon was another gangster. But Nixon and Trump are outliers. Their flaunting of the law -- Trump openly, Nixon more guarded -- and ruthlessness is not at all typical of most politicians in my experience.
