They are easier on the eyes, generate less heat (helpful if you have a lot of them in the summertime), and take up a lot less desk space.

There are two downsides, IMO. First is they cost more. Secondly, you cannot get one that displays at the really high resolutions of the big CRTs (+1600).

A few months ago, I decided to upgrade. Had two 21" CRTs, and bought 6 Samsung 191Ts. I still run one of the CRTs on my main trading system. All in all, this upgrade was a good thing - but I get more heat than I expected from the 6 LCDs.

only come in silver at this time spec are about the same as the 191T

best bang for the buck would be the 191t

i think the samsung 191t is the best chose you cand get the bezel are thin they are bright they look great.

best way to check is to compare the spec

main diff I see is the contract and the sony has a thinke bezel plus the 191 t is cheaper for 1 inch more scree
