minus the last two weeks, I find that the afternoons are the most boring and dangerous times to trade, I find usually one nice big full position trade around 3:15 est. other than that I usually end up making 150 trades that just cost me commission.
If you are scalping the morning is where all the candy is, after the first couple of hours I try to slow down. The month of April has been an exception though, volatility all over the place,....minus the afternoons for the most part though.
Before April I would look for things to do in the afternoon so I would not over trade.
