Great point, it demonstrates clearly that cultural factors, etc. are the primary factors in the rate of gun violence rather than is the strictness of gun control laws. Just look at DC, our nation's capital where until recently (Supremes Heller case 2008) guns were essentially banned, yet it had a very high rate if not the highest rate of gun related crimes in the US.
