Lawyer Compares Trump to Jesus Christ Ahead of Expected Indictment

An attorney known for defending January 6, 2021 Capitol riot participants compared former President Donald Trump to Jesus Christ in light of his rumored arrest next week.

Trump on Saturday morning claimed on his Truth Social platform that he expects to be arrested on Tuesday in connection with Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's investigation into him. Bragg's office has been probing the former president's alleged involvement in a scheme to pay "hush money" to adult film star Stormy Daniels in 2016. The case recently began to pick up steam, with signs indicating that a criminal indictment was approaching.

Joseph D. McBride, a conservative lawyer known for defending several January 6 defendants, took to Twitter on Saturday with a reaction to Trump's claim about an impending arrest. He compared Trump's situation to the death and resurrection of Jesus. He also urged Trump supporters to protest the potential arrest peacefully, and to vote to reelect him in 2024.

President Trump will be arrested during Lent—a time of suffering and purification for the followers of Jesus Christ. As Christ was crucified, and then rose again on the 3rd day, so too will @realDonaldTrump. Violence is never the answer. Winning the election is. Vote for Trump!

Ahead of an expected indictment, that's a pretty out-there analogy. Anyway, speaking of legal stuff, have you heard about these solosuit reviews? It's kind of like checking out feedback before making a decision. Just like this lawyer's comparison, it's good to take things with a grain of salt and do your research. Indictments and comparisons aside, it's always wise to have a well-rounded view before forming an opinion

I see it, Rabbinical tradition attacked Samson for disobedience to God, his parents and not following the Law. Samson loved hanging out with Philistine prostitutes and women who did not love the Hebrew God.





Samson had his eyes gouged out because God abandoned him to his evil desires and lusts. I doubt Trump will do anything remotely selfless like Samson’s final act.

Trump voters are more likely to believe the former president is telling them the truth than their friends and family or religious leaders, according to a new CBS News/YouGov poll.

The big picture: The poll finds that Trump continues to dominate the race for the 2024 nomination, with 62% of likely GOP primary voters supporting him, while only 16% said they would vote for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

I wonder how messed up their family and religious leaders are? I can’t judge because I avoid family and Evangelical leaders like the plague!
