New details are emerging about the crimes allegedly committed by Rep. Lauren Boebert's (R-CO) son, who was arrested this week for going on what police say was a crime spree.

Westword reports that police have released more information about 18-year-old Tyler Boebert's alleged actions, and they include robbing a woman with a brain tumor who said that she only had $75 "left to her name."

Overall, police say that Boebert and three underage friends were caught on surveillance camera breaking into people's cars, taking any credit cards they had inside, and using them to go on a shopping spree.

Police say the Boebert-led crime ring is comprised of three males, including Boebert, and one underage female with him Boebert "supposedly made a sex tape."

She also shared in a March 2023 appearance on The Rubin Report that Tyler planned on taking petroleum engineering classes at Colorado Mountain College Rifle...

She added, “He is very excited to be a father. My mom was 18 when she had me, which inspired me to be a mother when I was 18 years old.”

In February 2024, Tyler was arrested on felony charges related to alleged vehicle trespasses and property thefts. According to the Rifle Police Department in Colorado, the father-of-one is facing five felony counts and "over 15 additional misdemeanor and petty offenses." A spokesperson for the congresswoman did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.

I will assume her son Tyler and his girlfriend were living with her instead of living on their own because living on their own would have put a lot of financial pressure on him while attending Colorado Mountain College Rifle. By the way, a very strange name.

Thus, something dramatic happened to Tyler to throw him into crime and I wouldn't be shocked if it involved his mom Lauren, father, and the mother of his child.

Look at that picture closely, is he smiling while wearing a hoodie and not hiding his face. The hoodie identifies who he could be. He just made the Dumbest Criminals list.

Tyler Boebert, 18, was arrested on Tuesday by Colorado's Rifle Police Department in connection to a spate of property thefts and car break-ins. He faces more than 20 charges, including several felony charges, relating to the string of crimes.

According to an arrest affidavit, Boebert, along with three underage pals, has been accused of breaking into four cars in the city of Rifle and stealing wallets and credit cards found inside to make purchases at several locations, including local McDonald's, Starbucks, and gas stations.

In one case, a woman's stolen debit card was used in an attempt to make a $717 purchase from the fast-fashion online retailer Shein, but the transaction was denied, the arrest affidavit says.
