Laughing stock of a network MSNBC forced to apologize AGAIN

MSNBC has turned into a complete joke of a network, tweeting all republicans are racist, under their Networks official twitter account. Of course they forget that it was in fact the hosts of MSNBC who previously had to apologize for making fun of Romneys Interracial family.

MSNBC ACCUSES 'RIGHTWING' OF HATING BIRACIAL FAMILY IN SUPER BOWL CHEERIOS AD

On Wednesday night, the official MSNBC Twitter account posted a tweet celebrating General Mills’ decision to air a biracial commercial touting Cheerios during this Sunday’s Super Bowl. However, that tweet came at the expense of suggesting “the rightwing” was racist.

Maybe the rightwing will hate it, but everyone else will go awww: the adorable new #Cheerios ad w/ biracial family. http://on.msnbc.com/1dPgQEU

The commercial titled “Gracie” is part two of last year’s popular “Just Checking” commercial for Cheerios, with the father this time using Cheerios to explain to “Gracie” she will soon have a younger sibling.

That’s the latest jab at the right from MSNBC over biracial families. Last month, MSNBC host Melissa Harris Perry took a shot at former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney and his adopted biracial grandson, which forced her to later issue an apology.

RNC CHAIR CALLS FOR MSNBC BOYCOTT OVER RACE TWEET

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus is launching a boycott of MSNBC over an incendiary tweet from the network that suggested "the rightwing" would "hate" a television ad featuring a biracial family, Breitbart News has learned.

"Until you personally and publicly apologize for this behavior, I have banned all RNC staff from appearing on, associating with, or booking any RNC surrogates on MSNBC. I have asked Republican surrogates and officials to follow our lead," Priebus told MSNBC President Phil Griffin in a letter sent today.

Priebus also sent a memo to Republican officials and surrogates urging them not to appear on the network until Griffin apologizes.

MSNBC's tweet, sent from the network's official account last night at 8:06pm, said, "Maybe the rightwing will hate it, but everyone else will go aww" and linked to a Cherios ad "w/ biracial family."

The left-wing cable network deleted the missive last night and tweeted, "Earlier, this account tweeted an offensive line about the new Cheerios ad. We deeply regret it. It does not reflect the position of msnbc."

But Priebus noted in his memo the attack is hardly the first time the network has gone to extraordinary lengths to discredit Republicans and conservatives.

"This is more than just a tweet or an offhand comment. This is part of a pattern of behavior that has gotten markedly worse, and until Phil Griffin personally apologizes and takes corrective action, we cannot be part of this network's toxic programming," Priebus said.

"MSNBC hosts---including Alec Baldwin, Martin Bashir, Melissa Harris-Perry, Alex Wagner, and Ronan Farrow just to name a few---have had a troubling streak in the last several weeks of making comments that belittle and demean Americans without furthering any thoughtful dialogue. Perhaps it's time for the executives at MSNBC to consider whether their network is upholding a meaningful journalistic mission," the Wisconsin Republican added.

Phil Griffin apologises.

Following the Republican National Committee’s announcement of a boycott of MSNBC in response to a tweet that suggested “the rightwing” would “hate” a commercial featuring a bi-racial couple, the network’s president Phil Griffin issued an apology.

The Cycle host Ari Melber read the statement on-air this afternoon:

“The tweet last night was outrageous and unacceptable. We immediately acknowledged it was offensive and wrong, apologized and deleted it. We have dismissed the person responsible for the tweet. I personally apologize to Mr. Priebus and to everyone offended. At MSNBC, we believe in passionate, strong debate about the issues, and we invite voices from all sides to participate. That will never change. Signed, Phil Griffin.”
