When the pandemic hit, America needed someone to turn to for advice. The media and public naturally looked to Dr.Anthony Fauci—the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, an esteemed laboratory immunologist and one of PresidentDonald Trump's chosen COVID advisers. Unfortunately, Dr. Fauci got major epidemiology and public health questions wrong. Reality and scientific studies have now caught up with him.

Here are the key issues:

Natural immunity.Bypushing vaccine mandates, Dr. Fauci ignores naturally acquired immunity among the COVID-recovered, of which there are more than45 millionin the United States. Mounting evidence indicates that natural immunity is stronger and longer lasting than vaccine-induced immunity. [Eds.: Long-term trends are still unclear. Arecentstudyreached the opposite conclusion, but wascriticizedby an author of this op-ed.] In astudy from Israel, the vaccinated were 27 times more likely to get symptomatic COVID than the unvaccinated who had recovered from a prior infection.

We have known about natural immunity from disease at least since theAthenian Plaguein 430 BC. Pilots, truckers and longshoremen know about it, andnurses know it better than anyone. Under Fauci's mandates, hospitals arefiring heroic nurseswho recovered from COVID they contracted while caring for patients. With their superior immunity, they can safely care for the oldest and frailest patients with even lower transmission risk than the vaccinated.

Protecting the elderly.While anyone can get infected, there is more than a thousand-fold difference in mortality risk between the old and the young. After more than700,000 reported COVID deathsin America, we now know that lockdowns failed to protect high-risk older people. When confronted with the idea of focused protection of the vulnerable, Dr. Fauci admitted he had no idea how to accomplish it,arguing that it would be impossible. That may be understandable for a lab scientist, but public health scientists have presented manyconcrete suggestionsthat would have helped, had Fauci and other officials not ignored them.

What can we do now to minimize COVID mortality? Current vaccination efforts should focus on reaching people over 60 who are neither COVID-recovered nor vaccinated, including hard-to-reach, less-affluent people in rural areas and inner cities. Instead, Dr. Fauci has pushed vaccine mandates for children, students and working-age adults who are already immune—all low-risk populations—causing tremendous disruption to labor markets and hampering the operation of many hospitals.

At this point the top purveyors of Covid misinformation are well-known. Most have a dozen or more failed fact checks of deliberate disinformation they have pushed over the past two years. There no longer is any value in debunking item after item of the latest crap being pushed by these clowns and being spread on social media by anti-vax Covid-denier fans like the manure it is. The world has reached the point where it is enough to call out the disinformation purveyors as nonfactual pushers of nonsense.

You never debunked many of them in the first place. Just tried to slander and discredit them. You'll use phrases like "as noted" or "we aren't going to answer that" as if you represent anyone other than you and your cats. You do this to give the false impression that you have consensus, when no consensus exists. You'll spout out "Tell us" or "show us" when you're questioned. Who is "us"? its you, by yourself.

You lie, obfuscate, and then don't answer when you are obviously called to task. You try to bold your text, or claim sources aren't valid because "Facebook" or "twitter" calls these sources "misinformation" - as if a social media company is the know it all behind science and it is settled.

You push narratives, oblivious to the fact that you contradict your own points in other posts, made in earlier times. You've managed to unite both liberals and conservatives to think you're a clown - which is quite an achievement.

You've tried to complain to the forum owner in the attempt to squelch opposite viewpoints, and failed.

You've cheered when governments prosecute and persecute people for not believing as you do.

You're on the wrong side of history.

Good luck with your fantasies. I have provided many studies, articles, fact-checks and other information from respected sources demonstrating these nonsense being spewed by top purveyors of Covid misinformation are pure bullshiat.

It serves no purpose anymore to debunk every fabrication from the Covid-denier clowns day after day as they spew their latest nonsense. At this point -- we need to merely point out the source is crap. Nothing more is needed.

The Vaccine Deaths will kill millions later in about 100 years when everyone one of us are over 100 years old.

We'll then blame it on the Covid Vaccines that we took way back in the early 20's of the prior century. :D

In fact, if I don't reach 110 years old...I'm suing Moderna for negligence due to the fact that I'm fully vaccinated and boosted. :rolleyes:
