Totally wrong:

COVID survivors with natural immunity at low risk for reinfection or severe symptoms, study finds
Reinfections had 90% lower odds of resulting in hospitalization or death, The New England Journal of Medicine study found.
Patients who survived COVID-19 have such strong natural immunity that their chance of reinfection or serious side effects is minimal, according to a new studypublished in The New England Journal of Medicine.

The study conducted by researchers in Qatar reviewed global databases for 353,000 coronavirus patients who were infected between Feb. 28, 2020 and April 28, 2021.

The researchers excluded about 87,500 people who were vaccinated, and found of the remaining population only 1,304 got reinfected, with none requiring ICU hospitalization.

“Reinfections had 90% lower odds of resulting in hospitalization or death than primary infections,”the researchers said. “…Reinfections were rare and were generally mild, perhaps because of the primed immune system after primary infection.”

“Accordingly, for a person who has already had a primary infection, the risk of having a severe reinfection is only approximately 1% of the risk of a previously uninfected person having a severe primary infection,” the study concluded.

The researchers said it still needs to be determined “whether such protection against severe disease at reinfection lasts for a longer period, analogous to the immunity that develops against other seasonal ‘common-cold’ coronaviruses, which elicit short-term immunity against mild reinfection but longer-term immunity against more severe illness with reinfection.”

Such a finding could be significant, the researchers suggested, because it could mean COVID-19 could eventually “adopt a more benign pattern of infection when it becomes endemic.”

This is just one study of many. I have posted numerous studies which use larger data sets showing that vaccination is more effective than "natural immunity". You can go review these other studies. Recent examples of news articles outlining studies showing Covid vaccination being more effective than natural immunity include 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and dozens of others

I will note that you have nothing to say further about "T-call immunity" - obviously you understand you are completely incorrect on your assertions.

Let me state it once again -- when you go to your doctor to determine if you have an immunity against a viral disease whether it is measles, mumps, Covid-19 or any other disease -- they perform an anti-body level test. The presence of anti-bodies at sufficient levels means you are currently immune to a disease -- it does not matter if the immunity was conferred by vaccination or an earlier natural infection. They do not test for T or B cell levels -- because these do not provide long-term immunity but merely establish that you currently or recently had the disease or were vaccinated.

Wrong. Per CDC:

The Immune System—The Body’s Defense Against Infection
To understand how vaccines work, it helps to first look at how the body fights illness. When germs, such as bacteria or viruses, invade the body, they attack and multiply. This invasion, called an infection, is what causes illness. The immune system uses several tools to fight infection. Blood contains red blood cells, for carrying oxygen to tissues and organs, and white or immune cells, for fighting infection. These white cells consist primarily of macrophages, B-lymphocytes and T-lymphocytes:

  • Macrophages are white blood cells that swallow up and digest germs, plus dead or dying cells. The macrophages leave behind parts of the invading germs called antigens. The body identifies antigens as dangerous and stimulates antibodies to attack them.
  • B-lymphocytes are defensive white blood cells. They produce antibodies that attack the antigens left behind by the macrophages.
  • T-lymphocytes are another type of defensive white blood cell. They attack cells in the body that have already been infected.
The first time the body encounters a germ, it can take several days to make and use all the germ-fighting tools needed to get over the infection. After the infection, the immune system remembers what it learned about how to protect the body against that disease.

The body keeps a few T-lymphocytes, called memory cells, that go into action quickly if the body encounters the same germ again. When the familiar antigens are detected, B-lymphocytes produce antibodies to attack them.

Enjoy your fantasies.

Why don't you go to your doctor and ask them what type of test they use to see if you have long term immunity to a disease such as Covid. Hint: It is not a test to detect T-cells or B-cells. Antibody level tests are used.

It is shocking to see you come out pushing non-truthful anti-vax nonsense like "T-cell immunity" and other assorted nonsense --- and to see Cuddles cheering you on.

There was an immunologist on NPR a few months ago that seemed to be suggesting the body may have an immunological "memory" beyond antibodies.

This immunologist should be asked why every single test to determine immunity to a disease is based on anti-bodies and why not a single one of them is based on "immunological memory beyond antibodies".

You've continuously shown a lack on scientific understanding concerning COVID:

Yep... And I don't recommend it either. Since having Covid anti-body immunity in a single test should not be a replacement for getting vaccinated -- which is what the CDC is trying to stop.

The last thing we need is more people running around get Covid anti-body tests and then claiming they don't need vaccinations because they have "natural immunity" -- especially since many of the Covid antibody test do not test to determine if you have sufficient levels of antibodies to stop a new infection -- they simply see if you have antibodies that are a marker of a previous infection (or vaccination).

Any "Covid passport system" which allows natural immunity to count as being protected needs for the naturally infected to be tested every three months using an antibody test that determines the level of antibodies present. Similarly we actually need a similar system for vaccinations since these wane as well. However in reality we will never see in the U.S. this type of regular antibody testing on regular intervals to determine if natural infection or vaccination have provided each individual with sufficient current antibody levels.

And by extension, antibody testing should not be used as a determinant of lack of immunity of those who've healed from the disease
