Latest Gallup Poll Shows Big Jump for Obama after Infomercial

Quote from stock_trad3r:

The ONLY reason why McCain fell behind is because the stock market fell off a cliff in Spetember/October.

The McCain campaign has always been a well oiled machine. This black swan came along and messedit all up.

You really believe that?

Quote from stock_trad3r:

McCain's poll numbers had been rising steadily for the past six months until the stock market took a sudden dive.

So ALL of McCAins baggage and problems and campaign flops are not to blame.... It solely the market that brought McCain down.

come on man

Other than a convention bounce, he was steadily going down hill.

It seemed to me that he had the convention bounce then Palin met Katie and it went downhill from there.

Yes, when Couric asked Palin whether she did regular reading to keep up with foreign affairs (to which Palin replied 'Yes') and subsequently asked her to name a few periodicals or other publications (which Palin was unable to do), it was the beginning of the end for Palin as a viable candidate. Too many people saw that and talked about it the next day over the water cooler.

Speaking of polls, isn't it fun to watch the far right on here insisting that McCain and Obama are neck-and-neck and that a McCain victory is just around the corner?

People don't vote for their politicians based on their intelligence.

I agree based on the "comman man" folksie folks that the Republicans have been running.
