Last Pieces of the Puzzle Journal

As I posted earlier in the day, I had a bit of indecision (due to greed) today. My goal of +1.0 @ 400 shares approached quickly and hovered for a few moments. I couldn’t pull the trigger and close the profit and the trade did a 360. (I had a good 25 seconds, but I didn't get out, because I thought it would keep running for me)
But I stayed composed and things turned out …

On Wednesday morning while I was in my trades I found myself glance at the clock, and I caught myself. I do not post my finish time because I am trying to run a race. I started posting the time to show to myself that I don’t need to trade all day to be successful. With part of this “new” trading/money management plan that I put together, I said to myself that I would be calm during losing trades/days and I would try to “stretch out the day” and not get stopped out. Before I was losing so badly I was getting shut down by my broker/trading platform just about everyday. Now I shut it down on my terms…Time isn’t posted to be a show-off or to rub my good days in anyone’s face.

Today…just keeping on keeping on…

COV 400 @ +.48 = +$192.00
ETR 400 @ +.09 = +$36.00
TM 800 @ +.26 = +$208.00
(On TM I made a keyboard error and ended up w/ 800 shares instead of 400)

Although I trade at 400 shares at a time I do scale in & out additional shares…

I decided to stay at 400 shares. I spent the weekend trying to decide at what % I want my daily loss to be in regards to my account size. 2 more days of hitting my daily goal will get me there. As I grow the account I will try to lower the daily loss %.

Today 5 for 5, nothing really to add to that.

BG 400 @ +.11 = +$42.00
POT 400 @ +.19 = +$75.00
RTP 400 @ +.08 = +$32.00

I have to say I’m a bit torn…I want to giggle at what I have been able to accomplish, but I am also scared. I’ve lost plenty of $$$ in the past. I’m not scared of losing money (but I don’t want to) but I think I am more scared that after all of the losing in the past that this winning isn’t real. That I am not as good as the results have been. I am completely sold on making my goal for the day and moving on to the next day. I’m trying to keep the blinders on & stay focused…bring on Tuesday.

I just noticed my last 21 trades have been profitable. I don't really keep track of those things,...I won't let trying to maintain that streak, or any other one, take me down.

You are a machine. :D Congrats! Whatever you are doing, don't stop until it stops working. LOL

What is your next share per trade level? 500 or 600?

Angry,
Thanks. I do like those even numbers, but my next step up will be 500, if all goes well.
I look for your p/l post everyday. Keep up the good battle.
