I will still have a house and w2 employment income in alabama .(which will be taxed in alabama)
Will drop homestead exemption in alabama , change tags , DL etc etc declare myself a resident of florida at county court house and that should save me between $5,000 -$10,000 in state income tax next year.(unearned income as a resident of florida should be untaxed).

Let that be a lesson to you obama, taxes have consequences.

Keep pushing soak the rich tax crap and I'll take my trading business offshore.

Ft. Walton is a great choice on the gulf. I used to go there as a kid when we lived in New Orleans. Ft. Walton has that white, powdery sand on the beach which is nice! And get ready when you transfer your tags to FL. Ouch!!!!$$$
