Larval - Tool to find volatile stocks

The volume below refers to volume transacted in in the last ~5 minutes, right? Not sure if it's very useful as it's too stock dependent. It would be great to filter out by min ADV and min price (avove $5 for example).

Not a bad idea on the price filter, might add that when I get a chance. The volume is (misleadingly?) for total volume, as I was getting too many alerts for things with a couple thousand of volume, could make a an option for the 5 minute movement only though. Things I'll ponder.

I took a look and is it correct that everything is the settings is only for alerts? So the list is basically always the same (independent from any setting)?

In that case I just look at the list and don't bother about the settings!

The alert settings highlight (pulsating red/green background) whatever criteria is met in the settings, then it has your browser fire off a notification and makes a beep sound if audible alerts are on. After that the overall list is just showing what's moving the most (even if it doesn't meet your criteria). I'll take a glances here and there during the day and see if anything catches my eye if i'm looking for something to play against.

Last questions:

1) is the behavior for the premarket the same as after hours?
2) is it working for the whole PM and AH (i.e. from 4.00 to 20.00 ET)?

Thanks again!

Yeah, I don't have a good source for afterhours currently, it's intermittent and delayed. It's 4-8pm and looks again around 8am. I just called it all "after hours" for now.

I'll be honest, since I can't trade options in the afterhours I put it on the back burner.

A couple years ago I made a script that searches for rapid price changes (every ~5 minutes), generally to sell CSPs against, but there are several strategies one could use. Recently I slapped a GUI on the idea and have thrown it out there for anyone else that might find a use out of it:

would you be interested in expanding on this idea? or allowing others to do so?
