Larry Williams arrested in Sydney for tax evasion

Quote from bunnypink:

what is wrong with you tunderdog? you r the 1 who lacks readin skills. what surf states makes perfect sense. you attack surf constantly and don't even no him. I am personal friends with surf and don't understand your motives. surf is a stand up guy....you.... exactly what r u ??

bunny:mad:

Are you smurf's English teacher?

Quote from marketsurfer:

hey student,

nicely said. do not the vast majority of traders, trade for entertainment value??---not just the seminar attendees. just like going to the track or casino--- williams seems to teach a solid method and is way less offensive than the majority of snake oil salesmen, guys who place perfect track records on their websites and make those kind of proclamations make me ill. williams is not in this category of public decievers.

surfer.

What makes me ill is pompous fund manager journalist wanna-bes that have the opportunity to debunk something new and thumb their nose at it because they are close minded about anything that doesn't involve dinosaur market analysis. Then they ignore information they agree to adhere to when presented to them.

Maybe Larry can do an astrology moon reading or create a fake drivers license for you to show his appreciation for standing up for him.

Oh, "deceivers" is spelled this way.

Quote from marketsurfer:

. . . thinking for yourself is really the master key to the market, once the basics are learned, ofcourse

Such a profound statement from someone that doesn't practice it.

Don't tell me we've got so low we're correcting spelling? In the histories of flaming thats a tactic thats so old its looked down on by most. :)

Don't tell me we've got so low we're correcting spelling?? Look up Strunk and White (sp?) if you want to understand what your subconscious is saying when you put quotes around the word. :)

I'm correcting the spelling of a wanna be journalist. Someone that is never wrong. The quotes direct attention to the word in question.

Being accused of flaming the queen of technical analysis flaming . . . I take that as a compliment.

Quote from TheStudent:

...Promoters of stock ideas aren't in the business of education, they are in the business of entertainment. And once you accept that, you'll see that the veracity of the content is irrelevant. It's all for yuks anyway.

Anyone with half a working brain should be able to figure out that the keys to the kingdom can't be purchased for $19.95.
If only it were $19.95. As I understand it, the cost of Larry's seminars are in the thousands. I imagine that sort of entertainment gets less cute fairly quickly.

Quote from marketsurfer:

remember, LW is being accused of evasion, etc. nothing has been proven yet----- untill this situation is properly ajudicated all the speculation is simply hearsay.

what curtis stated earlier makes perfect sense and appears to be most likely the case based on what i know about the tax programs in the virgin islands.

Quote from Thunderdog:

Astonishing! Do you even bother to read what you write?

In your first sentence, you frown upon speculation and hearsay. In your next sentence, you advise us of the "most likely" scenario! Tell me the truth. Do you own a clown suit?

OK, I'll play along, bunnysurfer, although I feel a bit silly addressing a sock puppet. But before we begin, I suggest that you screw in a fresh bulb with higher wattage so as not to miss the fine points. That is to say, so that you can see them better. And now let us begin. And please be sure to read slowly.

In the above captioned quote by marketsurfer, you will note that he first looks down upon hearsay and speculation. And THEN, he immediately proceeds to speculate about the "most likely" scenario! Do you see how that works? Did any of the irony get through? We adults call that hypocrisy. Hypocrisy is not a good thing. Hypocrisy is a bad thing. Bad, bad bad.

And who am I, you ask? I'm the mirror on the wall who tells it like it is when marketsurfer asks who is the fairest of them all.

Particularly by those who can't spell.

It is pretty obvious that the likes of Larry and Linda rashke et al are making huge money from selling their supposed skills.
There will always be suckers who think paying $2000 or $5000 for a weekend is going to ensure trading success - and so the money flow will never stop. And actually the ones who pay will be their greatest defenders because they have convinced themselves it must be value.
If peopel have got money to burn and take it as just a good laugh and time for a chat then of course no harm is done.

Pay $30 for a book by the same person and you get much wider and deeper information....

Proflogic, one mystery is how you get away with promoting your website here?

i vote for instatin' da death penalty via electric chair for vendors--all of 'em...guilty as charged, no trial, no jury no nothin'...just plain ugly terrible sufferin' 'till death.
