Largest brokerages - league tables

Can anyone confirm who are the largest brokerages by share volumes traded (equities) in the US? Does anyone have this information available? I am doing research and this information would be useful. Thank you

what is your source as the DART reports that are reported over earnings does NOT reflect this in terms of daily trades.

Correct info from a quick search of DART (daily average revenue trades for January)
1) Interactive Brokers 646,000
2) TD 521,000
3) Schwab 334,000
4) E-Trade 201,000

those firms really aren't brokers. They are HFTs and/or are in the business of buying order flow and routing for other brokerages.

Darts aren't volume. Darts are revenue trades so an order to buy 1 option is a Dart. An order to buy 100 options is also a single Dart. I last saw gross volume data is 2015 and the volume leader, as i recall, was J P Morgan. Search for an ICE or NASDAQ annual report and the stats should be there. The data can be hard to translate as a ton of data goes through the consolidators like Citadel. Also keep in mind that the consolidators can also have a customer side as well where they trade for their own account - the house accounts can be huge. In 2000 when I was the ISE the largest customer was also the largest market maker. Two totally different accounts and they were separated by a Chinese wall for regulatory concerns.
