Large Wall Mount High Res Display (TV)

Hi All,

Asking Collective Wisdom for a recomendation. Thinking about a wall display, a single one, that could also function as a TV on a rare occasion. TV part is optional though. Have been TV-free for decades, but don't mind to watch a good theatre on occasion from online services. I have a spare large room with some exercise gear.

Thank you

Got yelled at for this very reason when I was a kid, so today I'm kind of adverse to putting holes in the wall. I'd look around for a light weight adjustable stand.

I'm cable tv free, (internet is through cable) just using OTA, and get everything I need for free. Just can't see myself paying for a monthly tv bill to watch a sports event that has commercials every five minutes or so. :banghead:

the idea of a large computer monitor, wall mounted, is interesting

i'm thinking of getting a large wall TV myself, because
i recently found out - you can get Wifi, www on some of them
[i'm slow to all the new advances]

i'm also an OTA, non cable person

i'm thinking of doing a permanent wall mount

So what do you want from us really ? To recommend you TV or the big monitor anyway or not ? How do you plan to go without that screwing stand ? You can simply buy some model you like and ask people from delivery to mount it for you for special price.
