I disagree with this. You are effectively making the assertion that most cops are dishonest - which I find to not be true.

I do not support private prisons, but only a small portion of prisoners are locked up in privately run facilities currently.

I am a lifelong fan of the USA.
If I was American I would vote republican, i am against abortion, for reducing taxes and minimizing government size and spending.
The conservative thinktanks are the best in the world. I look up to much in American culture and history.

But 2 million people in prison is unprecedented in any culture at any time.
What gives America?

Blacks by themselves are around 40% of those incarcerated. If we increased the death penalty, we would not need to waste our tax money putting em behind bars.

Get rid of all victim-less crimes. No victim? No crime. Just like they did in the Netherlands. Why should there be a crime if there is no victim?
