Obama voters in general would give you a blank stare if you asked who the vice president was much less what the unemployment rate is.
Probably less than 1% have even heard of the labor participation rate.
They don't know and they don't care but they sure can vote for someone who's promised to pick your pockets for -em.

After looking over the numbers it is clear that this jobs market and this recovery are the worst since the 30s.
If I were Romney, I would take a play from the Clinton/Gore 1992 campaign. They kept repeating what was then a lie - 'the worst economy in the last 50 years'. Romney could rightfully adopt the mantra 'worst jobs market in the last 50 years'

Socialism is such garbage, the politicians use it to buy votes and they don't care how far in debt we go. Right now the economy is burdened so badly by the current worries, the current taxation level, the upcoming tax increases, etc. that even the low interest rates can't get it going again.. Obama spoke to a half empty stadium at the biggest university in Ohio btw, even the college crowd is not wild about the guy..

Standing on a low stage at the center of the small crowd, Romney gave his standard stump speech, drawing just a smattering of applause on the usual lines.
Only 100 supporters attended the event, billed as a "Grassroots Rally and Discusses Jobs and the Economy with Supporters" by the campaign. Staffers removed the tall ladder at the side of the room to prevent photographers from capturing the vast empty space between the press file and the crowd.
Every thing you say is true but there are two more large drags on the economy (actually 3 if you count Europe's problems) that are helping to keep the economy soft.
1) Obama's regulations. The EPA and other agencies at the direction of Obama are slapping so many regulations on business that the costs and time wasted complying with them has hurt a lot of businesses. And
2) A strong real estate recovery has led us out of every recession since WWII. When home owners see the value of their homes increase they are more willing to spend money. And the construction industry starts employing middle class workers by the thousands sparking the boom on down the line. This time we all know the real estate market has remained in the tank.
