LA Times going to the mat for their boy Obama

Apparently, the LA Times (typical liberal rag) has video of Barry Hussein Obama partying down with PLO spokesman Rashid Khalidi, a crowd of palestinian terror supporters and former Weather Underground terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn.

Being the fair minded and even handed mainstream media readers of P&R have come to expect, they are of course not going to release the video, seeing as how it shows Obama in a truthful light.

Brit Hume opened his Fox News show with this story today, and reported that the Times is now saying “No comment.”

LA Times excuses so far:

* “We did report on it. Why aren’t you happy with that?”

* “There are ethical problems with releasing the tape.”

* “No comment.”

The relationship extends back as far as 1993, when John McCain joined IRI as chairman in January. Foreign Affairs noted in September of that year that IRI had helped fund several extensive studies in Palestine run by Khalidi's group, including over 30 public opinion polls and a study of "sociopolitical attitudes."

Of course, there's seemingly nothing objectionable with McCain's organization helping a Palestinian group conduct research in the West Bank or Gaza. But it does suggest that McCain could have some of his own explaining to do as he tries to make hay out of Khalidi's ties to Obama.
 
The National Review claims Ayers and Dohrn were at the event. No surprise since Ayers and Khalidi are described as VERY close.
Obama is SUCH a lying scumbag.......

OK, we will go out into the world and get our very own information about political things that we are not invited to in the future.. I recommend boycotting the LA Times, I read it if it's free at the donut shop or wherever but spend money on it, forgettaboutit

This is actually a rapidly breaking story. The event was real, the people attending verified and a tape is in existence. Betcha the L.A. Times caves by Friday...
 
I read about a Palestinian that lives in Chicago who said he knows everyone that was at this dinner, and that they are all anti-Semites. He said there is likely a lot of anti-Israel and anti-Semitic talk on this tape, and would be very damaging to Obama who sat through it.

You're kidding, right? Did you read the whole article that you posted, or just the parts that appealed to you?

...Jamie Gold, the newspaper's readers' representative, said in a statement: "More than six months ago the Los Angeles Times published a detailed account of the events shown on the videotape. The Times is not suppressing anything. Just the opposite -- the L.A. Times brought the matter to light."

The original article said that Obama's friendships with Palestinian Americans in Chicago and his presence at Palestinian community events had led some to think he was sympathetic to the Palestinian viewpoint on Middle East politics. Obama publicly expresses a pro-Israel viewpoint that pleases many Jewish leaders.

In reporting on Obama's presence at the dinner for Khalidi, the article noted that some speakers expressed anger at Israel and at U.S. foreign policy, but that Obama in his comments called for finding common ground.
