My point was that people just call The University of California at Berkeley...Cal...in the same way the folks I know call California Western University of Law "Western Law."

Oh, I never said I live in San Diego...but some people call all of the towns in San Diego County "San Diego" just as there are those who say someone is from D.C. when they live in Virginia or Maryland...

By the way even in your new lie... CAL means Berkeley not Cal western. Berkely is a top school... no one confuses CAL with Cal Western either. Not anyone in San Diego. So if you said CAL we would know Berkely... if you said Western School of Law no one would think CAL or CAL Western.
