It's sad to say...the kid will be exploited for political gain. If he truly has PTSD...and if his family support isn't strong enough to protect him...
I really do feel sorry for this kid because his cool lawyer will not be able to protect him going forward.

I'd give the kid a few years but probably send him somewhere decent, not too nice though like Denmark or something to serve it where they rehabilitate. In the imaginary world where fair happens anyway.
The guy who provided him the AR15, I'd give the chair. The whole culture of morons with guns is gone too far. Guns are a serious matter no matter how the right tried to trivialise their reality and in a way their evil.
Kyle's lawyer is probably the best dad figure he will ever have.
PTSD, I've have it a bunch of times and it's simple to handle if you don't talk about what cause it, don't refresh the memories. Kyle is a bit screwed in that regard, if he really has it but I don't really doubt he does a bit.
Mind you familiarity breeds contempt too so maybe over exposure will grind down the emotional spur of the memories.
You focus on a gun while exonerating the rioters and their actions. I guess if they were able to complete their threats on Rittenhouse, shoot him, bash in his head with a skateboard it would be acceptable in your opinion. After all the kid went there understanding the terrain.

Kyle is a victim of prejudicial prosecutors.....The railroading of innocent people
This is right to the heart of BLM.....There is a history of Black men being falsely charged and brought to trial
I can see Kyle showing up along with BLM at these cases
And of course the new paradigm if for Whites to be treated more severely by woke DA's
Kyle can bring attention to those cases
