Wonderful. Hey, I have an idea! Let's put everyone in hermetically sealed containers for 2 years. No one gets out. I'll betcha we kill the virus completely. Why hasn't anyone ever thought of this??

Proper response. What a laugh!

Why don't your compare Florida and the U.S. to other world class responses such as South Korea.

Sure.

Huh. What about Germany?

"World Class Response". Same results. Man, it sure is a good thing they did all the "right things".

Thanks.

As I understand it, the Wuhan lab had been working with CV and HIV for more than 10years. Originally, to find a vaccine to stop a possible epidemic, but then the research was taken over by the Chinese military as the goal was to create a biological weapon using gain of function mechanisms. That is why a Chinese General was sent to Wuhan to destroy all evidence of what was being worked on.

Here is a paper that noted the dangers of such experiments. If experiments could get a deadly virus to be transmitted through the air, well that is what the CCP virus would look like. Once you infect people, most people survive, but in subsequent infections either the body repels the virus with more strength or the body's defenses are less effective creating worse symptoms each time. It has to be one of the two. If it is the later, we are in this for the long haul.

Just putting ideas out there.

China is the worst possible country to be carrying out any of those experiments. Even if there were a consensus that such experiments should be carried out, that should still exclude China. Even though many of us have "issues" with the NIH, if for example, world scientists concluded that such experiments should be carried out, at least I would have confidence that the Americans, the Germans, Brits, whatever were not selling the lab animals down the local wet market.

And the rest the of the country is a nightmare in regard to poultry and swine management practices too. They have several new viruses emerge every year just out of their poor livestock management but it is tolerated because not many- only some- transfer to humans but then most- but not all- do not transmit human to human. Meanwhile their researchers are scavenging the dirtiest and deadliest viruses from caves and bringing them back to urban areas. I will stop there but I could name many more factors.
