Let's not stop there. Let us talk with the family members of those who died in car accidents, the 1500 or so people a day dying from cancer, all the people dying from senseless violence in urban cities...
You're getting desperate with the "ask all the family members what they think of low levels". What's next from you? "Think of the children!?" We're in a pandemic. We're going to have people die. No one disputes that people will die. You should be happy it isn't as bad as it was forecast to be.

A person with a flu virus walking around, or the common cold can also kill an innocent if that innocent is immuno-compromised. How many people over the last 100 years "killed" innocents through unintentional infection? Who knows? I'm sure a good amount.
Life went on, as it does in a civilized, functional society. If you have physiological handicaps, then you take precautions. That's what you do. If I have only one leg, I don't try to cross the street at a busy intersection. Have lung problems? I'm not going to try out for the Navy Seals. Have deadly peanut allergy? Not going to see me trying to eat a PB&J sandwich. Should we outlaw peanut butter because some people die from the touch of peanuts? Get the fuck outta here. I love me some peanut butter.
At what point do other people's handicaps become our problem? Should my life be impacted - my job, my company, for someone who might get sick if we bring our people back to work? People get sick at the workplace. Don't want to get sick anymore? Got news for you, isn't going to happen unless you spend the rest of your scared little life inside an inflatable bubble. So get in your little bubble already so the rest of us can get back to our lives.
