Its not the virus that is a problem, its the response of large populations of crazy people that drove my decisions about where to be and what to do.

Katrina showed me everything I needed to see. It didn't take 24 hours for jacked-booted thugs to start knocking on doors asking about guns. When they start arresting people for walking their dogs you can be assured you are in a police state.

We trashed our economy and gave up our freedoms because of the flu.

Where you are right now, the military is out and making sure people stay in their house and only go out for the 2 hours they have been assigned....there is no "we" it is the whole world.

Not saying its better here.

I knew it was going to be a hunker-down situation. It was a choice between hunkering down at home with my finger in my ear (the mountain is closed to skiing) or hunkering down here where I can do some work and get ready for next season. The winter weather kind of got to me this year, it was very gloomy in the PNW.

I gave my old dingy and engine to a swedish couple this morning. They know they will have to glue the damned thing back together about every 4 months but they didn't seem troubled by it and were very grateful for something usable. I warned them about carrying large cargo lol. I'm done with inflatables.

Peak of outbreak is already in in Italy and Spain among other places.------Government response and intervention has not peaked. You may be typing in a sarcastic manner. I understand your pointing.
Peak that is a product from a complete lock-down Wuhan style, not because this is just 'another flu.'

Deaths and cases grew pretty quickly past 3 weeks if you look at the charts.

If people started staying home a week or two sooner would have slowed it a bit.

Through 2 degrees of separation I now have learned of 4 people that died in NY/NJ and 1 in Spain. Pretty soon you all will know of someone in ICU or dead from Corona....

The peaks in Italy and Spain are way behind us and there is more evidence suggesting that the outbreak has peaked in the US.----More to come.

Even more, and final, confirming evidence today that the peak of The Wuhan-19 outbreak in New York City and State is well behind us now.

There is absolutely no evidence to support any of your comments regarding a peak in NYC or the US. But again, if you keep saying it every day eventually you'll be able to look back and say "I told you so!" when you are eventually correct (as you will eventually be).

Until then, yeah. No one believes a word of it.
