Kudos to MMs

Nitro, have you been following the supply & demand of instruments in the WTI/Brent arena? If so, what kind of aggregate bias are the std dev moving averages suggesting?

That's a good observation. However, to use this analogy, your model should be a sand of pile that can cause a bidirectional avalanche. Think of a pile of sand in a gravitational field which can change the polarity. With this model, another grain of sand can cause the avalanche in either direction, depending on the field orientation. In fact, one can argue that this is exactly what we have been observing in the last 4 years, with the S&P 500 going from the low of 666 to all time highs, exceeding them, and reaching 1687 recently.

This bull market may as well continue for another six months. What are you going to do with your increasingly martingaled position? You know how all martingale-based trading strategies end up, don't you?

Martingale only terminates your trading career if you can't fund an infinite number of adds/doubles. We all know that the trader at hand has infinite funding so no chance of a blowout...

the fact that Fitch just caught up is not market moving material.

sigh if a new down grade that was unexpected comes and the mkt barely notices..then you have something to write about.
 
1680 SPX. To the moon and beyond!!!! The market will top with a parabolic short covering expansion. A 3 day event +15, +28, +60 SPX. Not sure what level it will happen from but then AND ONLY THEN can you short this.
