If this thing goes far enough, wait until the Chinese threaten to halt purchasing our bonds. The only reason they purchase our bonds in such large numbers is because of their favorable trade status.

I wonder if the mob mentality types that called for pulling out of TPP realize the enormous error it was now.
 
They're saying Kudlow had a heart attack and is at Walter-Reed. Ya know I actually thought he did look kinda "not himself" up at the G7. He looked sick. Pale and gaunt.

Our Great Larry Kudlow, who has been working so hard on trade and the economy, has just suffered a heart attack. He is now in Walter Reed Medical Center.

the fed can just buy the bonds again like they were.

when they lost 1.5 trillion during the housing crisis the fed replaced their bonds with treasuries.

the FED just creates money out of thin air and we don't even make them account for how much money creation they do.

There is no reason to worry about whether they purchase bonds or not until we actually have a handle on how much money is being created anyway.
