KRX is closed

Does anyone know why? IB says exchange is closed. It is not in any calendar.

Do not see anything on their website as well.
 
No idea, all other IB markets seem to be working....

I checked the holiday calendar and did not see anything.

Anyone with some info?

If you don't mind me asking, what instrument(s) are you trading on the KRX?

Are you seeing some pretty good volatility?

I'm looking for something to trade in the evenings after coming home from work that has some good moves and the Korean market might be a good place to look.

I trade KOSPI 200 futures. It is a great contract. It is thick, high tick value, 1 tick spread and has decent intra day moves.

If your type of trading needs such an instrument, it is is best option during Asian hours.
