Fresh, natural and organic food grocer Whole Foods Market has lost millions of customers over the past year and a half, and Kroger Co. has been the biggest beneficiary. I guess they beat out Big Bear. They were neck in neck in competition at least in Ohio. If they are now the largest operator of traditional supermarkets that means Big Bear didn't make it.

It is because Whole Foods is stupid!!!! Way overpriced, and the employees hate them! Just short that company and be done with it! Whole Foods is fraked...man. The writing has been on the wall for a couple of years. Can feel it in the bones.

The S&P 500 stock posting the largest daily percentage loss ahead of the close Thursday was The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR) which traded down about 19% at $24.50. The stock’s 52-week range is $24.54 to $37.97. Volume was over 75 million versus the daily average of 8.7 million shares.

It is because Whole Foods is stupid!!!! Way overpriced, and the employees hate them! Just short that company and be done with it! Whole Foods is fraked...man. The writing has been on the wall for a couple of years. Can feel it in the bones.

Antecdotally at least I'd have to disagree with Whole Foods employees being significantly less happy with their job than Krogers. They certainly seem to be a significant step above them in competency and quality.

I went to WF the other day and did something I haven't done in a long while...put everything back that I had in my cart and went to other stores. Prices are just stupid high. We have a really good selection of groceries... Kroger, Martins (bought by Publix) Aldi, Food Lion, Trader Joe's, Wegman's and of course WalMart. Everbody sells organic, even Food Lion and WalMart.

A Wegmans just opened and I noticed a couple of former WF employees there. All said they loved working at Wegmans.
