Did Noem distance herself from Lewandowski because of the rumor of an affair with him or did Noem distance herself from Lewandowski because he was chasing another woman (as in the deceiver was deceived) ???
Regardless, now the Trump Super PAC has cut ties with Lewandowski after a donor accuses him of sexual harrassment. If Noem plans to make a run at the Republican nomination...it's completely understandable why she would cut ties with Lewandowski too to put the rumors quickly to bed sort'uv speak (pun intended).

Now for some follow-up... When S.D. Gov. Kristi Noem's intervention on behalf of her daughter didn't work, the offending state employee was fired for "completely unrelated reasons". Now the entire situation is front and center in a legislative hearing -- which is probably the most entertaining thing happening in South Dakota. But people probably want to know why the state had to pay $217,000 to someone they fired for supposedly being incompetent who never had a previous negative evaluation.
