Kris Kullamagi Breakout Setups

Always wondered about these monster breakouts. They happen a lot with pennies.

Here is a well-known company which seems to be getting ready for a 2nd run. Can lightning strike twice?

It even passes value filters.

Next time you leave the Cable TV running after mindlessly flipping channels, check who produced the content for the channel you left it on.

Much better. Plug is from the right industry that could bring in big flows. The base acts as support, if the entry was mis-timed. I see this behavior in the intra-day. It's just too stressful for manual trading especially with TWS.

Kris admits about 70% of the time his break-out plays fail and he gets stopped out. He makes up for it with his 30% winners. The guy just seems to have developed a knack or sixth sense for which stocks are about to break out.

He outlines exactly what he is looking at...consolidation with higher lows...and you can see him draw his "alert lines" on the 60 min chart.

What I have done is see the stocks he is "stalking" and then create some scans in stockcharts.com to get those type of stocks in my watch list. As I take trades, I watch the recordings of twitch stream and compare what he did vs what I did. One cool thing is he noted he missed a couple of trades that I actually got into so that is nice validation I am on the right track (and the profits in my account).

I wouldn't call having 70% of my breakout plays getting stopped out a sixth sense for breakouts. I'd call it a disciplined approach to trade management that results in spectacular profits.
He also scales out of his winning trades.
 
His live stream and the recordings are so damn valuable! Rather than paying for a service where the content is geared toward being able to sell the service...for free you can watch a trader trading a 10 figure account in real time with unfiltered commentary about what he is doing. The guy is funny AF too...constantly cracking "Boomer" jokes...lol.
 
Instead of looking for stocks for huge runups, find something already ran up and time to sell short/hedged. I much prefer selling short non dividend stocks, so not into spectacular profits, am seeking consistent gains with small risk.
