i've seen his show at least a couple dozen times over the years, and respect his staying power and showmanship. you aint falling asleep during his gig.
does he make positive returns on his trading and investing, apart from his business enterprises?

I think the chart says it all. Being famous and a good showman don’t necessarily make ya a better trader.

Investing is about ROI.
If just looking for a "positive return" put everything in CDs. Less time consuming & guaranteed profit.

In Cramer's defense, he:
1-Had an 11 year track record of beating the market when running a hedge fund.
2-Has trading restrictions if he mentions a stock on TV so can't trade the way he normally might.
3-Is teaching his viewers how to trade rather than just giving stocks to buy.
