Unlike with Obama, the Chinese are fiinding and will find that some agreements are adjustable along the way depending on their behavior. Ditto for ALL other countries.

As I said in post to UsualTard a few days ago, I dont think Trump should be meeting with LRM before the middle of September so I am okay with everything. It gives time for the sanctions to set in or to continue to expose China's game.
If I were Trump though I would send the American delegation to Singapore to talk further with the whoever the Koreans send- but the President should not be attending. You cannot reward the inevitable monkey business. They are free to do it. We are free to not reward it. If the two delegations want to determine what North Korea wants then Trump can just say the hell with it if it is a non-starter or he can reschedule something off in the future. But in no way should the President of the United States allow them to turn him on and off like a faucet. He did the right thing by cancelling. This is confirmed by the fact that all the lefty media is blaming him. The fact that they do not like confirms that it is the right way to go.
It gave China a chance to show that they are still a snake too so it is good to add a little more time to the process to let everyone show their colors. Meanwhile, the US, South Korea, and Japan should ramp up the arms race that the Chinese fear the most and militarize the whole region. Japan has a right to be freed from treaties that limited their military power and size in return for protection being provided by the Americans. And planning and preparations for the evacuation of Seoul need to be ramped up.
