Ok, sure. How about all of the COVID misinformation we were given in order to go make us get vaccinated? I can post all sorts of video from the CDC, from Biden, from Fauci all telling us that if we got vaccinated, we'd not get COVID. "It was 100% effective". That's not paraphasing.
I'd call that domestic, sponsored kompromat if ever there was some.
Only now, after so much truth has come out are the people who said that natural immunity works, or that cloth masks were ineffective, etc has the crap been outed for what it truly was.

The agency has also been criticized throughout the pandemic for issuing public health guidance that some saw as confusing and ineffective. Many also felt it wasn't moving fast enough to respond.
Trump dismantled the federal government response structure that was put into place by Obama. If he had any amount of self-reflection, he would realize how foolish this was in retrospect. It cost him his second term and can still not accept responsibility.

It should be noted that the leading primary point of the re-organization is to get ahead of misinformation from anti-vaxxers --- with the first point of re-organization being to put out information based on study pre-prints rather than waiting over 8 months for peer reviews (while the anti-vax nutcases put out constant false claims based on pre-print studies). The intent is to debunk misinformation immediately with clear communications on why the anti-vax nonsense is bullshiat. The CDC is no longer going to put up with this twisted anti-vax crap -- any more than it will put up with any future interference from politicians in scientific public health situations. It's basically preparing to club the anti-vax idiots over the head.

Ive moved the goal posts? Here is the President of the United States, telling us we will not get COVID if we get the vaccine. There's a Fauci one around, too. And a CDC director, and Kamala, and so on.

As for vaccinations worked then, works now - proven vaccines? Yep, absolutely. Measles protects just about everyone who gets the shot. Polio. Same thing. Tetanus. Yep. Mumps? You got it.
COVID? Not even close.
