the Koch brothers say they have spent a lot of money on republicans and even when elected don't give them much in return. Their main concern is crony capitalisim and regulation.

I am not sure what this irony is. The democrats have been employing pay to play schemes for years. Look at the top of the democrat ticket to see the cream of the crop when it comes to cronyism. According to Hillary, they were dead broke when they left the White House and now they are worth over $100 million. Bill was unemployed during the time, and Hillary was a Senator and Sec of State, neither of which will pay anywhere near enough to allow you to put $100 million in the bank so where did all the money come from.
Hillary goes around getting paid $250,000 per speech by Goldman so the content must have been Earth shattering. I wish she would share with the rest of country the great wisdom she imparted during these GS speeches that made them worth so much. I suppose she better win 2016 because if she loses, her political career is over. The fees that Goldman would be willing to pay to an old washed up politician would be significantly less.
If all of that is 100% true, it's still ironic for the Koch brothers, capitalists, to "spend a lot of money" on candidates and then say they're battling crony capitalism.
They're kind of doing us all a favor in the same way George Will and Billy Kristol are. Trump can use the fact that hated globalists shun him as proof that our current trade deals are good for them, bad for the country.
Going forward, we know to instinctively oppose anyone these guys support.
