Now, you have to upgrade those cabinets to match. Then the floors. Then paint the walls. Then upgrade the backyard, and frontyard. While you're at it...get a modern contemporary garage door and front door. Get a new fridge too. New curtain rods and curtains.
I've always wanted a Cobblestone or Brick driveway....so enchanting, dreamy and poetic.
And a custom Large, huge, living room window....that always adds the wow factor and increases value and desirability.
The thing with upgrades....it can blossom and blossom.
And you finally realize, I should have just bought a new, different, house. And be completely Reborn. A new life change, needed.
That is for people who trade with phantom money, and have infinite money accounts. That is not for real people. I understand your meaning, but you are so off the mark, because you just don't give a shit.

Riches can be had by anyone, Literally anyone. The Money Gods....don't care if you're mexican, jewish, cambodian, gay, into incest, have a fetish for nancy pelosi, or whatever or have diabetes, or thick eyeglasses, or curse, or whatever,
The Money Gods rewards those with action, intelligence, and courage -- everyone else just sits on the sidelines of life.

Looks much better. Although that is not a like for like comparison, you need to add the same clutter around the sink and some dirty dishes inside to compare properly.

Good point. My wife wants to upgrade alot of stuff, but after 20 years, it's about time....
Everyone should switch residences every 15 or 20 years. Life can get really stale, and boring, if you stay in one complacent location and style for too long.
Life is a dynamic, moving, everchanging, organism, entity. Your soul, spirit, mind, and creativity can really get zapped out of you if you choose to remain the same for so long, or forever.
