I actually agree with you on this. However if liberals keep trying to equate saying "grab her by the pussy" as being the equivalent of actual physical assault --- while forgiving many Democratic politicians for their actual physical assaults -- then the left really has no moral or ethical ground to stand on.... they merely are a joke on this issue.
Where has she said that it was "assault?"
Every article that I have read has her leaning over backwards to say that it was not assault but that it had to treated seriously because of its inappropriateness.
You know, if Buttliplug there is running for office and comes up to some guy and smells his hair and kisses him on the back of the neck, that too might not be assault but the appropriateness is an issue to be addressed.
Also, depending on the state, that might be assault even if she thinks it isnt.
Not much difference between that and some guy nuzzling and kissing a woman on the subway- if any difference at all. Joe was in his workplace. Is this what "workplace safety" and freedom from inappropriate sexual touching looks like?

I've let my views known on the "grab her by the pussy" moment. Thought the leak would cost him votes w/the females and understood the context was implied (("they let you do it"). It was crass, but not criminal. His standing of being an accused rapists (by his ex) and by that defendant that mysteriously went away (and was dismissed as a "nutjob") I find more troubling.
The way the Democrats demonized a good man like Brett Kavanaugh, Joe Biden's actions should not be excused! I do not care if he is supposedly, the top contender for the Democrat Party nomination! Any decent woman would call his actions out without regard for political party! The same way, they have women come out of the woodwork to accuse President Donald Trump of anything and everything but, Bill Clinton despite, multiple women accusing him of rape, got away with a pass? Not even censure? Give me a f***ing break!
