King Obama: The Fall

Quote from Ricter:

Lol, I wasn't talking to you.

Don't care. I was talking to you.

You ignored my response to your posted article again, because you have no answer to it. Ie, dodge.

Quote from Spike Trader:

One minute you say the real world is absolutely cooperating with your expectations , and the next minute you say not anymore.

That's not at all what I said. Two distinct and unrelated comments to two different individuals regarding two separate issues.

Next.

Quote from Tsing Tao:

All this used to be the case. Not anymore. The real world is evolving while we slowly dig our holes.

I'm open to instruction. Tell me how this paradigm no longer holds.

The chinese have been particularly active in moving to direct currency swaps with a whole host of countries. They no longer have to convert to USD when dealing with, say, Australia, or African nations. They're pushing heavy to export to Europe and other Asian countries, and putting significant trade agreements in place with South American countries. They're diversifying heavily because they see the writing on the wall. China thinks in decades and centuries. They don't play the short game. Anyone who has played GO vs. playing chess understands the difference in strategy.

They will get to the point where they will, of course, take a hit for a US collapse, but they'll be insulated.

I am aware of the Chinese incursions into Africa. Africa is down with this because China was not a colonial power, so they are more trusted.

But,

A US collapse will be a global event. Now that I understand that you are thinking like someone from the East, I understand that your timeline is quite long indeed.

My question is this: Can Westerners even envision this type of thinking? All empires fall. And we will fall, but you and I, and mostly likely our children, will be worm food long before this happens. Why do you worry about it now?

I am, by no means, an expert on Chinese foreign policy. But my guess is that they have realized that they are behind the curve and that this collapse comes way before you and I are "dust". The currency arrangements they are rushing into all over the world is the alarming factor.

Regardless, there are no hard facts to back any of this up, it is just speculation. But I think China, Canada, Australia, Russia and to some extent South America will survive when things crash down. Japan, Europe and the US are toast. We'll be able to call it something like "the great migration of wealth" from West to East. It'll equalize the disparity a great deal, and thus will pass the time of the US and the sun will rise on other nations.

btw, you are only the second person in my life who is familiar with the game of Go.

Something to ponder Tsing.

And thank you for being the embodiment of what Politics and Religion was supposed to be as envisioned by Baron.

I look forward to our next discussion.

Peace and Love.
