Photographs of the document signed by President Trump indicate the leaders agreed to “work toward complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.”

The document indicates the leaders will work toward establishment of “new US-DPRK relations.”

The document reads:

President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un conducted a comprehensive, in-depth, and sincere exchange of opinions on the issues related to the establishment of new US-DPRK relations and the building of a lasting and robust peace regime on the Korean Peninsula. President Trump committed to provide security guarantees to the DPRK, and Chairman Kim Jong Un reaffirmed his firm and unwavering commitment to complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

• The United States and the DPRK commit to establish new U.S.-DPRK relations in accordance with the desire of the peoples of the two countries for peace and prosperity.

• “The United States and the DPRK will join their efforts to build a lasting and stable peace regime on the Korean Peninsula.”

• Reaffirming the April 27, 2018 Panmunjom Declaration, the DPRK commits to work towards the complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

• The United States and the DPRK commit to recovering POW/MIA remains including the immediate repatriation of those already identified.

During Donald Trump‘s meeting with Kim Jong Un, the U.S. president apparently presented his North Korean counterpart with a really weird video of what his country could look like on the international stage.

The video was first presented to Kim and his entourage during yesterday’s bilateral summit, though it was also shown to reporters when Trump held a press conference after the meeting was over. The video presents Kim and Trump as leaders who can “renew their homeland and change the course of history” on a grand scale.

“The past doesn’t have to be the future,” the voiceover says. “Two men, two leaders, one destiny.”

The video depicts North Korea as the industrialized, prosperous and flourishing nation it could be if they establish a peaceful relationship with the rest of the world. Amid skyscrapers, new technologies, and visions of a bright future, the film concludes by saying Kim could be a “hero to his people” if he chooses to works with Trump and other international leaders.

Trump faced questions about whether this video could be used as North Korean propaganda since it shows Kim in a positive light. The president said he was “not concerned at all” about that, saying Kim seemed to enjoy the video.
 
The Hill best summed it up-

The document does not elaborate on what steps the United States will take to guarantee North Korea’s security, nor does it lay out the steps North Korea will need to take to denuclearize.

It does commit to holding further negotiations.

The statement refers to denuclearization of the entire Korean peninsula, North Korea’s favored language. And while the United States in the past has demanded so-called CVID — or complete, verifiable, irreversible denuclearization — the statement does not include the words “verifiable” and “irreversible.”

THIS WAS just a PHOTO shoot and a con job.

Kim was the youngest of three sons but clawed his way over them, young Trump backed his dad to help destroy his older brother. They have a lot in common.

Maybe Kim can show the video of him killing his uncle and then those officials with anti-aircraft guns. Big guns Donny!
